Switch the main interface style from Settings → Appearance → Interface Style.
Turn off Show in Settings → Appearance → Title Bar for more content space. Hold Alt and drag with the left mouse button to move the window afterward.
Enable it in Settings → Quick Search → Everything Search to find local files and folders directly from Quick Search.
Choose the subcategory layout that best fits your setup in Settings → Items → Subcategories → Display Mode.
Enable a standalone window when creating or editing a category to show its items separately, with options such as always on top and edge snapping.
Adjust category row height independently from the name's font size and weight in Settings → Categories.
Right-click a category and choose Edit Category to upload a local image, or use an online image, emoji, or SVG icon.
Right-click a category and choose Set Category Password to protect it with a password.
Right-click the item area and choose Add Organizer to keep frequently used items together in a dedicated organizer.
Choose Text when creating an item to save notes or to-dos directly; open it to read, copy, or edit the content.

Configure window show/hide gestures and the pause/resume shortcut in Settings → General.
Enable Ctrl and Alt independently, then press either key twice to toggle the Dawn Launcher window.

Enable Prefer Relative Paths in Settings → Items → Features. New items will favor relative paths for easier portable use.
Configure the browser path in Settings → Browser, then edit a URL item and choose the browser to open it with.
Define variables in Settings → Environment Variables, then use %variable_name% in item paths, launch arguments, starting locations, or command-line tools. Update shared paths in one place.
Enter your own hint in Settings → Quick Search → Placeholder to replace the default text in the search field.
Choose an image in Settings → Appearance → Tray Icon to replace the default system-tray icon.
Enable backups and choose a location in Settings → Backup. App data is backed up to a folder there whenever the data changes.
